Access to Legal Advice
We offer a free initial interview which enables us to identify whether we can assist you and if you would be entitled to any help with the costs of the legal advice through the legal aid scheme. We offer same day appointments for emergencies in respect to domestic violence.
Legal Aid will only be awarded in certain circumstances. If you do not qualify for legal aid we will review your matter and identify if one of our fixed fee packages may be suitable.
For all types of civil legal aid you will qualify if you are in receipt of:-
- Income based job-seekers allowance
- Income support
- Guaranteed state pension credit
- Income based employment and support allowance
- NASS Support (paid to Asylum seekers)
You may also qualify even if you are not in receipt of one of the above benefits and we will happily carry out a financial assessment at your free initial appointment.
Legal Aid
Hardings Solicitors hold a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to provide advice through the legal aid scheme in Family Law and Housing Law.
